Mind over matter occurs when an individual uses a particularly strong mindset to help him or her overcome theoretically insurmountable obstacles in their lives. I woke up this morning feeling grumpy. I have no idea why. I have absolutely nothing to complain about and everything to be grateful for. When I opened my eyes, I felt tired and crabby. I hadn’t even moved a muscle yet and I felt like I just wanted to roll over and go back to sleep for the rest of the day.
